We went to Sangam Chettinad Indian Cuisine in Austin, Texas on a Saturday and luckily didn’t have to wait for a table. Usually I would expect around a 15–20 minute wait on weekends, so we probably got there at a good time. We ordered Sangam Special Pepper Chicken, Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Kothu Parotta, and Seeraga Samba Goat Special Biryani. For me, the Pepper Chicken was easily #1. That was the dish I kept going back to even after trying everything else. It had a really good peppery Chettinad masala flavor and was exactly the kind of spicy South Indian chicken I was craving. Chicken Lollipop was crispy and a good starter to share. The Kothu Parotta was also really good with plenty of masala mixed into every bite. And if you like South Indian-style biryani, definitely try the Seeraga Samba Goat Biryani — the rice itself has a completely different aroma and taste compared to regular basmati biryani. Service was excellent too. Everything came out well and we were taken care of throughout the meal. If you’re looking for South Indian/Chettinad food in Austin, I’d definitely start with the Pepper Chicken. That’s the one I’ll be ordering again next time.

Visiting from Scotland and went here with family for lunch. AK (Akriti) took great care of us explaining all the dishes and options. I went for the special Non Veg Thali and it was a delight.. every item full of flavour and the variety was incredible. The sweet dishes were also excellent. The quantity was really overwhelming and we had to takeaway a lot of leftovers. They have takeaway containers of different sizes available so it was so convenient collecting the leftovers. Also tried the Buttermilk and Mango Lassi and every one was very happy. Few folks tried the Dosa and Chicken Lollipop and again loved it. Lots of variety in the menu and definitely if U are in Austin craving Authentic Indian please do visit this place...

Today and yesterday I ate lunch at Sangam Chettinad in Round Rock. On both days, the service was very attentive. Kiya made sure I was never left waiting for a coffee refill or to remove emoty platters. Yesterday I had a coffee, and I tried the Kongonadu Thali special, a tray full of many small bowls including four different chicken styles and some delicious vegetable dishes, showcasing the cuisine of western Tamil Nadu. I was very pleased with the wide variety of flavors and spices. Today I started with a coffee and chicken 65 appetizer, which is a must if you've never had it before. For my main course, I ate paneer tikka masala, a longtime favorite of mine, and which is done exceptionally well by Sangam, accompanied by garlic naan. As always, I am leaving with a very satisfied stomach and palate looking forward to my next visit, which will very likely be on Wednesday for this location's 1 year anniversary celebration featuring all-you-can-eat biriyani. The bottom line is this dining is experience is always a real treat, and the chefs and GM Abhi ensure every patron's meal is top notch. Do not sleep on Sangam.

After a friend recommended this restaurant, I was excited to finally give it a try, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From start to finish, the service was professional, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the atmosphere made me feel comfortable the moment I walked in. A special thank you to Krish and Abhimanya for taking such great care of me during my visit. I stopped in for a quick lunch before an appointment and ordered the lunch special with Veg Biryani and Gobi. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious! One of the things I’ve always loved about Indian cuisine is the incredible use of spices and flavor, and this meal delivered exactly that. Every bite was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. To top it all off, I ordered a refreshing drink with lime, mint, and pineapple, and it set the tone for the entire meal. It was light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. I ended up sipping on it all the way to my appointment afterward and found myself wishing I had another one! Although I was short on time during this visit, I already know I’ll be back. Next time, I plan on staying a little longer and enjoying the experience with a friend. F

Today, we came to have dinner at Sangam Chettinad during our trip from Burlington VT, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was truly amazing, rich in flavor, fresh, and full of authentic South Indian taste. Every dish was perfectly prepared with traditional spices and excellent presentation. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting. It is not easy to find such genuine Chettinad cuisine, and this place exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Austin TX, Five stars without hesitation!
